I found some really neat patterns on a crafting site. This isn’t the normal iris folding, there were some really different and more difficult folds…but I love the way this bunny turned out!
Peace

This alien pattern reminded me of my brother Kevin. He likes aliens! Anyway I had to make one for him. I will probably save it for him to use for his birthday in August.

Emma turned six last weekend. I can’t believe how big she is getting! She has developed quite a personality and is very smart. She loves Simon’s cat and likes to pretend that she is Simon’s cat. She does a very good immitation of him and also likes to draw pictures of him.
Who was it!

David and I have been working on getting house. David has been painting and I have been working on getting things organized. We bought some new bookshelves to help organize our stuff. After getting the bookshelves organized David started taking things off of an old bookshelf. Karalyn asked him why we had not gotten rid of the old bookshelf. I quickly jumped into the conversation and explained to both of them that the old bookshelf was a treasure. I told them that my dad made the bookshelf when he was in high school. For years the bookshelf sat in my grandparents house, he made it special just for them. When my grandpa passed my dad brought the bookshelf home. When I moved into my own place I took the bookshelf with me. Both David and Karalyn understood the shelfs worth.
David put his new stereo on top of the shelf and we listened to records while we worked. Before we sat down to eat dinner that evening David turned the stereo down so low that I could no longer hear it. As I sat eating the sereo suddenly got loud and then I couldn’t hear it again. I looked at David. I asked him if he heard that. He said yes and we both thought it was strange and continued eating. A few minutes later it happened again. David got up and went to look at the stereo to see what was going on. No one had messed with the volume on it. So who was it that was playing with the stereo? I think it was my dad since we had talked about him earlier in the day and because we were cleaning and organizing things on the bookshelf.
An update on Karalyn and some other stuff on me….

Karalyn got her cast last Thursday. The doctor said that her arm is healing up beautifully. She chose a pink cast and a purple strip.
She gets it off on March 22.
The night before last, Karalyn was going to bed and tripped on one of her toys. She didn’ hurt her arm, but she landed on the toy and bruised her leg on the doll house she tripped on. I almost thought we were going to have to take her to the Emergency room again. I put an icepack on it and gave her some ibuprofen and sent her back to bed…after I picked the toys up of the floor. I told her that I really should have given her the name “Gracie Mae” which is her nik name, then maybe she would be more graceful. She just grinned at me. She is ok though, just has a sore spot on her leg.
A few weeks ago I noticed some spots on my arms and thought they were just light bruises from Andrew grabbing my arms. Over the past few weeks I have noticed that they are not going away and they are getting a little bit darker. I thought maybe they were dry spots, but they are not any drier than the rest of my skin is. I am keeping track of them by taking pictures once a week. I am going to make an appointment with my doctor and see if he knows what they are. They don’t itch or hurt, they are just there
They have gotten a tiny bit darker since I took these pictures. I have extremely sensitive skin so it could be just an irritation, but like I said it doesn’t itch or hurt at all. I have a few other small spots on my arms, I don’t have them anywhere else on me. I tried to look them up on the internet, but found nothing that looked like them.
